🌟 Cannes Remakes Unveils 2024 Original Films Selection for Its 1st Edition
For its inaugural edition, Cannes Remakes unveils an exclusive selection of original films sourced from France, Spain and Italy — primed and ready to be remade into mesmerizing film adaptations.
Cannes Remakes is the the latest program launched by the Marché du Film and is designed to enhance the thriving IP market in Cannes.
For its first edition, 11 IP (Intellectual Proprety) titles from France, Spain and Italy, were selected and will be presented in Cannes thanks to our partners CNC (the French National Center of Cinema and Moving Images), ICAA (Institute of Cinematography & Audiovisual Arts) and the Directorate General for Cinema & Audiovisual-Italian Ministry of Culture & Cinecittà.
The half-day event will be held on 20 May at the CNC Beach and will include a pitching session, a series of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings and a networking cocktail event, offering a dynamic opportunity for IP holders to connect with producers and buyers.
