🤝 France-Brazil Co-Production Meetings at Marché du Film 2025

As part of the France-Brazil Season 2025 and in celebration of Brazil as our 2025 Country of Honor, the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) and the Marché du Film are collaborating to host the first-ever France-Brazil Co-Production Meetings on 20 May 2025 (9:00 to 13:00) in Cannes.

This exclusive event will give 10 selected Brazilian producers the opportunity to showcase their company, track record, and projects to carefully chosen French partners through a series of one-to-one “speed dating” type meetings.

With over 50 feature films co-produced since the early 2000s, Franco-Brazilian collaborations continue to thrive, supported by two key tools: the Bilateral Co-Production Agreement and the Aide aux Cinémas du Monde, offered by the CNC and the Institut Français.

A selection committee will review applications and choose companies that demonstrate both a strong track record (international recognition of past productions) and promising projects (with clear potential for co-production with France), ensuring a diverse and dynamic exchange between French and Brazilian producers.

📆 Submission deadline is 30 March
