Ahead of its return to Cannes this May, Investors Circle has partnered with When East Meets West (WEMW) to launch Unlocking Capital, an inspirational Lab in Trieste, from 16-22 January.
This new initiative aims to equip mid-level film producers with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively collaborate with private investors.
The program will offer participants an in-depth understanding of various types of investors, negotiation techniques, and legal considerations, as well as practical case studies to apply these insights. Additionally, producers will have the opportunity to engage in expert consultations with leading professionals in the industry.
The lab will feature leading industry professionals, including Jean des Forêts (Petit Film), our very own Aleksandra Zakharchenko (Director of Investors Circle, Marché du Film), and a selection of high-profile international private investors.
Fifteen producers have been selected to take part in this unique opportunity, including Julia Cöllen, Maria Drandaki, Natalia Drozd, Ivan Eibuszyc, Kristof Gerega, Isabel Orellana Guarello, Krystyna Kantor, Ines Massa, Zala Opara, Patricia Ramírez Arévalo, Marija Razgute, Daniele Segre, Sarah Pennacchi, Denis Vaslin, and Anna Werner.
