🎈 Le Ballon Rouge Welcomes Kids Back to Cannes!
Excitement is building around the return to physical markets this year, and Cannes 2022 is no exception!
Le Ballon Rouge is back to offer its family-friendly services during the in-person film festival and market from 17-27 May.
Organized by the Marché du Film and The Red Balloon Alliance, Le Ballon Rouge aims to promote a healthier and more supportive work-life balance for those working in the industry.
In Cannes, Le Ballon Rouge will be offering the following services:
- A fully-supervised daycare center in the near vicinity of the market and providing fun activities for the kids
- A convenient baby lounge inside the Palais des Festivals for our tiniest visitors
- Easier and less invasive access for children and their caregivers/nannies entering Festival grounds
- FREE badges for the children and their caregivers
The daycare center is available for children aged 6 months – 12 years from 10am-6pm and for a maximum of 6 hours at a time for each child. (Note: Meals and snacks must be provided by parents.)
This unique service is possible thanks to the valuable support of ADEF, CIMA, Cinando, Le Collectif 50/50, Danish Film Institute, EAVE, Flanders Image, German Films, MIOB (Moving Images – Open Borders), MUBI, Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, SEE NL – Eye, Semaine de la Critique, TorinoFilmLab, Unifrance and Wallonie-Bruxelles Images
As a result of the generous support of our partners, the daycare fees have been kept as low as possible: 60€ (for 3 days), 100€ (4-6 days) and 130€ (7-11 days).
✉ To register for or inquire about Le Ballon Rouge childcare, please send us an email with proof of accreditation, your required dates and times, and your child’s (or children’s) ages and names. Places are limited. Please specify whether you will need a badge for your nanny or caregiver and/or whether you will need childcare at our daycare center.
