Synopsis:

This is the story of people who have saved more than they have lost under the pressure of their burdensome being. A married couple, Hannusya and Dmytro… When you look closer into their lifestyle – you are mesmerized by this eternal flow of life – because they are life itself. This is how it was, how it is and how it will be; despite wars, political battles, rains and blizzards.

Director’s profile:

Eva Dzhyshyashvili graduated from the Ukrainian Institute of Public Relations and Television, department of Documentary Film Directing. Since 2014 she’s been working as Professor of Photography at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Department of Movie and Television. In 2017 Eva completed the Documentary Film Directing course at Serhiy Bukovsky School and crafted her filmmaking skills participating in educational projects Young people about Ukraine and Docudays UA: CIVIL PITCH. Directed short documentaries “15 MINUTES MORE”, “YAR”, “Z.P. GLEVAKHA”. Her first feature documentary PLAI. PATH THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS was pitched at the Ukrainian Doc Preview 2020 and received special award from the Pitch the Doc platform.
