🔎 9th Goes to Cannes projects revealed!
This year, Goes to Cannes welcomes five film festivals and markets that will showcase their selection of works-in-progress titles in the Marché du Film in Cannes.
From 9 to 12 July, festivals will showcase a selection of feature films in post-production seeking a sales agent, a distributor or a festival selection.
These curated selections will be presented during two-hour pitching sessions in Cannes. As part of this exclusive hybrid edition of the Marché du Film, online participants will have the opportunity to attend virtually to these pitching sessions that will be screened online in their local time zone.
Five film festivals and markets will present their selection as part of the 9th edition of Goes to Cannes: Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), New Horizons International Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Film Festival and, for the first time this year, SANFIC Industria and Tallinn Black Nights which joins as part of the PÖFF 25th birthday celebrations.
“We are thrilled to be back in Cannes and to launch the first hybrid edition of the Marché du Film this year, willing to give both onsite and online participants the best Marché experience as possible. We are proud to welcome these five festivals partners and offer them the opportunity to reach their audience, in Cannes or online!” said Jérôme Paillard, Executive Director of the Marché du Film. “I am especially glad to welcome SANFIC Industria and Tallinn Black Nights for the first time this year.”
The Goes to Cannes online screenings are open to industry professionals accredited at the Marché du Film (online or onsite accreditation).
