💸 Cannes Investors Circle Celebrates a Successful Second Edition with the Unveiling of 10 Exclusive Film Projects
Cannes Investors Circle, the Marché du Film’s exclusive gathering of top film financing experts and investors, concluded its second edition today with resounding success.
This year’s high-profile event, held during the 77th Festival de Cannes at the Festival & Marché’s official beachside venue Plage des Palmes, featured panels with leading international experts in film and media financing. The panels were followed by a private pitching session showasing ten grand-scale film projects – never before revealed — from acclaimed directors, including Palme d’or winning director Ruben Östlund (The Square, Triangle of Sadness) and other Cannes alums such as Chie Hayakawa (Plan 75) and Lorcan Finnegan (Vivarium, The Surfer).
Carefully selected for their potential to captivate audiences and investors alike, these projects, with budgets ranging from one to over 20 million euros, represent a diverse array of storytelling and creative visions. The selection process was overseen by a distinguished committee of industry figures, including Remi Burah, Serge Hayat, Wonsun Shin, and Tamara Tatishvili, who expertly moderated the pitching session.
