🔥 Fantasia Film Festival & Marché du Film Announce the 2025 Frontières Selection

Frontières Platform, the genre-driven initiative co-organized by the Fantasia Film Festival and the Marché du Film, unveils its 2025 selection, set to be presented in Cannes on 17–18 May.

Frontières is thrilled to reveal its latest lineup of films, spanning horror, fantasy, and comedy – highlighting some of the most exciting voices in today’s genre film landscape.

This year’s selection promises bold and imaginative storytelling. From Greek folkloric monster curses and portal-opening rock music to mystical fae realms and sinister vengeful spirits – get ready for a wild journey into the unexpected!

7 projects in advanced stages of financing will be showcased during the Proof of Concept pitching session on 17 May, in front of prospective financiers, sales agents and distributors, while 6 works-in-progress will be presented in the Buyers Showcase on 18 May, targeting international distributors, festival programmers and sales agents.
