🔥 Frontières: Fantasia Film Festival & Marché du Film Announce 2022 Selection
Frontières Platform, the genre-focused event co-organized by Fantasia Film Festival and the Marché du Film, reveals its 2022 selection to be presented in Cannes from 21-22 May.
After receiving twice as many submissions as last year, Frontières is delighted to present a new lineup, bursting with horror, practical effects and creative storytelling from todays’s emerging talents in the genre film industry. From murderous gnomes and monstrous cats to gothic period drama and fantastical horror, there’s no shortage of creativity when it comes to these genre projects!
7 projects in advanced stages of financing will be presented in the Proof of Concept pitching session (21 May) in front of prospective financiers, sales agents and distributors, while 6 works-in-progress (or recently completed films) will be presented in the Buyers Showcase (22 May) in front international distributors, festival programmers and sales agents.
Both pitching session events will be held at the Marché du Film in Cannes (and available for view on the Marché du Film Online platform).
