Take the opportunity to be one of our 10 selected composers and enjoy exclusive networking events designed to match you up with exciting film projects!
Launched in 2020 with the support of SACEM, Spot the Composer is the Marché du Film’s unique program designed to connect professional film composers with feature film directors & producers in Cannes.
Once again, 10 international composers will be chosen this year to participate in one-on-one meetings, designed to match them up with film projects (in development or in production)… and create harmonious collaborations!
The program also offers exclusive conferences and will end on a high note with the Marché du Film’s dedicated mixers for Animation Day and Fantastic Fanatics!
Spot the Composer will begin on Friday 19 May with a case study and will continue with meetings between composers and filmmakers & producers on Saturday 20 May and Sunday 21 May 2023.

📆 Submission deadline is 2 April.
🔔 The 10 Composers chosen will be notified on 15 April.
If you are selected, participation onsite in Cannes is required. As a Spot the Composer participant, we will also grant you free accreditation to the Marché du Film and a hotel room in Cannes from Friday 19 May to Monday 22 May (morning).
