Launched in 2023 with the support of Creative Europe MEDIA, Cannes Makers is the Marché du Film’s innovative training & mentoring program, dedicated to thoroughly exploring the international sales process at every stage.
Every year, we carefully select a group of promising young professionals, each driven to make a significant impact on the global film industry. Our aim is to provide them with an in-depth understanding of the different professions integral to bringing a film from script to screen, while helping them enhance their vocational skills, encourage cross-border collaborations, and provide direct engagement with leading industry experts.
Through meaningful group discussions touching on contemporary issues, such as diversity, inclusion, representation and sustainability, Cannes Makers ultimately empowers its participants to not only thrive but also drive change in the dynamic landscape of the film industry.
