MAIN ORGANIZERS
SWISS FILMS is the promotion agency for Swiss filmmaking abroad with the aim to strengthen the international visibility and distribution of Swiss films with promotional activities, consulting and support measures. SWISS FILMS supports films and talents at international festivals and markets and offers counselling to sales, distributors and festival delegates on Swiss release support schemes. SWISS FILMS is funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture.
The Swiss Federal Office of Culture (FOC) is the strategic body responsible for drawing up and implementing the Confederation’s culture policy. The FOC promotes both the production and distribution of films, thereby guaranteeing the quality and diversity of the offerings in all language regions of the country.
The independent Swiss public media company SRG SSR provides a multimedia public service in all regions and national languages of Switzerland. As part of the Pacte de l’audiovisuel, SRG SSR supports the development and production of films and multimedia projects.
