Synopsis:
The Siege is a journey into the ritual that every year comes to life with the arrival of the Italian Grand Prix of the MotoGp. Nobody matters about the race: behind high barriers 150.000 spectators gather to live a crazy experience and feel free, exaggerating for one night in a place where there are no rules. An adventure into an extraordinary world and what therefore happens outside, in the ordinary one.
Director’s profile:
Marta Innocenti is an Italian director. In 2017 she shot her first independent short film LA TRASFERTA (2017, 23″). In 2018 she graduated in Cinema at the University of Bologna. Since 2018 she lives in Milan and here she graduates as Filmmaker at the Scuola di Cinema Civica with the co-directed production of the short film PIAZZALE EUROPA (2020, 30″), selected in the Prospettive competition at Filmmaker Festival 2020. Her first documentary L’ASSEDIO (2021, 52″), produced by Echivisivi with the support of Toscana Film Commission and Programma Sensi Contemporanei MIBACT is being post-produced. Her first film MADEMOISELLE is in development, selected within Alpi Film Lab (a program of TorinoFilmLab, Annecy Cinéma Italien, Museo Nazionale del Cinema di Torino, Bonlieu Scène Nationale Annecy) and the InProgress MFN 2021 program (Milano Film Newtork).
Producer’s profile:
Passionate about cinema and literature. He graduated with Honors in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and in 2017 in Modern Literature. He graduated in Filmmaking at Rosebud International Film School in Rome in 2011 and he attended a Program in Screenwriting in New York Film Academy in 2014. 12 years experience in writing and direction techniques and processes production. In 2010 he directed his first feature movie, The way back home. In 2011 he started an Independent Production Company, called ECHIVISIVI. Between 2012 and 2017 he produced and directed 4 movies documentaries and he produced ACCORDING TO TABUCCHI, by Diego Perucci. Since 2017 he’s part of the Board of f International Popoli Festival. He recently directed his second feature movie GLASSBOY, an international co-production with Solaria Film, Peacock Film and Wildart Film.
