Synopsis:

Nino once lived with his family in the outskirts of Palermo. Then, one day, he was borne aloft towards the light.Now, twenty years after, he has completed work, opening his temple to one and all – an abandoned military observatory full of shining naïf mosaics.Is Nino alias Isravele a man inspired by a superior vision… or simply a fool, as many deem ?And, deep down, what is exactly – Art?

Director’s profile: 

Born in Florence in 1982, he graduated in Philosophy with Sergio Givone. He trained as a director in Paris, where he made his first short films and worked on various sets as assistant director. Returning to Italy, he attended the course of Direction at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and then worked as assistant to Paolo Virzì. His first feature length documentary, ‘Roma Termini’, won the special mention of critics at the Rome Film Festival 2014 and was selected in the main international festivals.
